- 3cl brandy
- 1.5cl Cointreau
- 3cl fresh orange juice
- 1.5cl crème de bananas (banana liqueur)
Pour the brandy and Cointreau, then the orange juice and banana liqueur, into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry.
Harvey Wallbanger
- 5cl vodka
- 15cl fresh orange juice
- 2cl Galliano
Pour the vodka and orange juice into a highball filled with ice. Stir. Float the Galliano over the back of a barspoon. Garnish with a slice of orange. Serve with a straw and a stirrer.
Hawaiian Sea breeze
- 4cl vodka
- 3cl pineapple juice
- 3cl cranberry juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple.
Hemingway Hammer
- 2cl vodka
- 2cl white rum
- 1cl blue curaçao
- 1cl extra dry vermouth
- 1cl fresh lime juice
Place all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
Hennessy Twist
- 3cl cognac
- 2cl dry vermouth
- 1cl triple sec/Cointreau
- 1cl apricot brandy
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
Highland Fling
- 5cl Scotch
- 2cl dry vermouth
- 6 dashes orange bitters
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
High Voltage
- 5cl Scotch
- 3cl triple sec/Cointreau
- 3cl fresh lime juice
- soda water
Pour all ingredients, except soda, into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Top up with soda. Stir.
Hold Up
- 4cl cognac
- 2cl coconut rum
- 3cl fresh orange juice
- 1cl fresh lemon juice
- dash gomme syrup
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Honeypie
- 3cl white rum
- 3cl cognac
- 1 teaspoon clear honey
- 2cl double cream
Pour the rum and cognac into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir. Strain into a cocktail glass. Shake the cream and honey sharply in a shaker with ice to blend them together.
Float this mixture over a barspoon on top of the rum and cognac mixture. Squeeze a twist of orange zest (zest facing the drink) to let a teardrop of orange into the drink. Garnish with a Cape Gooseberry on the side of the glass.
Honolulu Juicer
- 3cl Southern Comfort
- 2cl golden rum
- 2cl Rose's lime cordial
- 1cl fresh lime juice
- 31/3oz/10cl pineapple juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a colada glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry. Serve with a straw.
Hoopla
- 3cl brandy
- 2cl Cointreau
- 2cl Lillet
- 2cl fresh lemon juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a spiral of lemon.
Horse's Neck
- 5cl brandy
- 2 drops Angostura bitters
- ginger ale
Pour all ingredients, except ginger ale, into a highball filled with ice. Top up with ginger ale. Stir. Garnish with a spiral of lemon.
Hot Buttered Rum
- 5cl dark rum
- 1 slice soft butter
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 4 drops vanilla extract
- 6cl boiling water
Mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract in a heatproof wine glass until creamed. Add the rum and the boiling water. Stir. Serve hot.
Hot Eggnog
- 3cl brandy
- 3cl rum
- 1free-range egg
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- hot milk
Pour all ingredients, except milk, into a highball. Top up with hot milk. Stir. Grate nutmeg over the drink.
Hot Kiss
- 3cl Irish whisky
- 1.5cl white crème de menthe
- 1.5cl white crème de cacao
- 12cl hot coffee
- 2cl double cream
Pour the liqueurs and whiskey into a heatproof goblet. Add the coffee and stir. Finish with a layer of cream. Garnish with a dusting of chocolate powder.
Hot Passion
- 3cl vodka
- 3cl Passóa
- 9cl cranberry juice
- 9cl fresh orange juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a highball filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry.
Hot Scotch Toddy
- 5cl Scotch
- 7cl boiling water
- 1cl fresh lemon juice
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 teaspoon clear honey
- 3 cloves
- twist of lemon
Pour the Scotch, boiling water, lemon juice, and Angostura into a heatproof toddy glass. Stir to dissolve the honey. Spear the cloves into the twist of lemon and add to the drink.
Hunter
- 6cl bourbon
- 3cl cherry brandy
Pour the bourbon into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Add the cherry brandy. Stir.
Hurricane
- 3cl white rum
- 3cl dark rum
- 2cl triple sec/Cointreau
- 3cl fresh lime juice
- 2cl gomme syrup
- 1cl grenadine
- 9cl fresh orange juice
- 9cl pineapple juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a highball with ice. Garnish with a small wedge of pineapple set on the rim.
Hurricane Cooler
- 4cl dark rum
- 2cl white rum
- 2cl fresh lime juice
- 5cl passionfruit juice
- 3cl pineapple juice
- 3cl fresh orange juice
- 1cl blackcurrant syrup
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a colada glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry. Serve with a straw.

- 2cl Pusser rum
- 2cl white rum
- 1cl Canadian whisky
- 1cl Cointreau
- 7cl cranberry juice
- 7cl guava juice
- 2cl fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes grenadine
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a highball filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint set in the top of a strawberry, and a slice
of kiwifruit on the rim next to it.
