- 6cl vodka
- 3cl Irish cream liqueur
- 3cl coffee liqueur
- 3 tablespoons ice cream
Pour all ingredients into a blender with crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Serve in a colada glass.
Father Christmas Fizz
- 2cl Aperol
- 1cl cherry liqueur
- 2cl fresh orange juice
- 1.5cl cognac
- 1.5cl double cream
- pink champagne
Pour the Aperol, cherry liqueur, and orange juice into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a flute. Top up with champagne until three-quarters full. Stir gently. Pour the cognac and cream into a shaker. Shake. Strain into a small jug. Gently float the mix over the cocktail. Light a twist of orange peel and hold over the drink, dropping it in to extinguish the flame. Garnish with a sprig of red currants and a holly leaf speared by a cocktail stick.
Femme Fatale
- 5cl vodka
- 2cl crème de framboise (raspberry liqueur)
- 1.5cl fresh lemon juice
- 1.5cl fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon clear honey
- handful fresh raspberries
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously to break down the raspberries. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with two raspberries and a small sprig of mint on a cocktail stick. Set this across the glass.
Ferrari
- 3cl amaretto
- 5cl dry vermouth
Pour the amaretto into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice, then add the vermouth. Stir.
Fifth Avenue
- 3cl brown crème de cacao
- 3cl apricot brandy
- 3cl double cream
Pour the brown crème de cacao into a liqueur glass. Float the apricot brandy over a barspoon on top. Finally, float the cream over the drink.
Fig Supreme
- 6cl aged tequila
- 1.5cl fresh lime juice
- 1.5cl Grand Marnier
- dash grenadine
- 1 ripe, dark fig, peeled and diced
Place all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake sharply to break down the figs. Pour into a cocktail glass, letting some ice fall into the glass. Garnish with a wedge of fig.
Fino Martini
- 9cl gin
- 2 dashes fino sherry
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Firecracker
Serves 8
- 1 bottle red wine
- 48cl water
- 225g caster sugar
- 6cl fresh lemon juice
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- 4 cloves
Bring to a boil the water with the sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves for five minutes. Add the wine and heat slowly to almost boiling point. Serve in heatproof toddy glasses.
First Night
- 4cl brandy
- 1.5cl Van der Hum
- 1.5cl double cream
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Flamingo
- 3cl bourbon
- 3cl crème de bananes (banana liqueur)
- 6cl fresh orange juice
- 3cl fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons eggwhite powder
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Flatliner
- 3cl sambuca
- 8 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 3cl gold tequila
Pour each ingredient, in the order listed, over the back of a barspoon into a shot glass.
Forbidden Cocktail
- 3cl cognac
- 3cl crème de vanille (vanilla liqueur)
- 3cl white crème de cacao
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a chocolate stick.
Foreign Affair
- 3cl cognac
- 3cl black sambuca
Pour all ingredients into a brandy balloon. Swirl to mix.
Fourth of July
- 2cl bourbon
- 2cl Galliano
- 2cl coffee liqueur
- 2cl fresh orange juice
- 2cl double cream
- ground cinnamon
Pour the bourbon and Galliano into a warm cocktail glass. Ignite, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour the remaining ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into the glass.
French 74
2cl vodka
2cl fresh orange juice
1cl gomme syrup
champagne
Pour all ingredients, except champagne, into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a champagne flute. Top up with champagne. Gently stir.

2cl gin
2cl fresh lemon juice
dash gomme syrup champagne
Pour all the ingredients, except champagne, into a shaker. Shake. Strain into a champagne flute. Top up with champagne. Stir.
French Connection
- 5cl cognac
- 3cl amaretto
Pour the brandy and amaretto into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Stir.
French Kiss
- 2cl raspberry purée
- 3cl ginger beer
- dash apricot brandy
- champagne
Pour the raspberry purée, apricot brandy, and ginger beer into a champagne flute. Stir gently. Top up with champagne. Garnish with a fresh raspberry dropped in the drink.
French Kisses
- 5cl vodka
- 1.5cl crème de framboise (raspberry liqueur)
- 1.5cl white crème de cacao
- 1cl heavy double cream
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.
French Martini
- 4cl vodka
- 3cl pineapple juice
- 2cl Chambord liqueur
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
Fresca
- 6cl lemon vodka
- 4 fresh kumquats
- 4 dashes orange bitters
- 3 sugar cubes
Cut the kumquats into quarters and muddle with sugar in an old-fashioned glass. Add the vodka and the orange bitters. Stir. Add crushed ice. Serve with a straw.
Friends
- 3cl Aperol

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Squeeze a twist of lemon over the drink and drop it in.

- 3cl crème de fraises (strawberry liqueur)

Pour all ingredients, except champagne, into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a champagne flute. Top up with champagne. Stir. Garnish with a small strawberry set on the rim.
Fuzzy Navel
- 3cl vodka
- 3cl peach schnapps
- 15cl fresh orange juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a highball filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry. Serve with a straw and a stirrer.
