THE AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT FLAIRTENDING COMPETITION

The United Kingdom Flair league is respected around the world as one of the most creative of all. Following the huge success of the previous competition at the BarShow 07, the UKBG will team up with Sputnik vodka to give one Flair Bartender the opportunity of a lifetime to represent the UK in the IBA world Final in Puerto Rico.

The contest will take place during the first day of the BarShow 08 (Tuesday 17th June) from 10 am till 5 pm at the Sputnik arena. Twenty of the best Flairers will be on stage, with five bartenders going through to the final, and only onejetting off to Puerto Rico.

The prize money is, respectively, £1500 for the winner, £1000 for 2nd place, and £500 for 3rd place.

If you are interested to take part, check out the rules, or anything regarding this competition, please contact Mickael Perron (Mickael@BarNowOn.com).

The best people tp judge Flairtending are bartenders who have already had the experience. Neil Lowrey (Bar Wizards), Jay Du Toit (Roadhouse), Florian Beuren (Flairmotion) and Ilias Kousis (Bartrend.gr) will check out the moves, the spins & the creativity of the competitors.

Also, because we care about the taste of the cocktails, two of the most respected palates in the industry -- Peter Dorelli and Salvatore Calabrese -- will taste the cocktails that each of the Flair Bartenders mix (making up 30% of the total score).

Compared to last year, there is twice as much space available for the competition, so which should be able to let everyone catch and see the best that the UK Flair has to offer on stage. This will be the moment that the UK shows off what its Flairtenders can really do to the rest of the world -- and they WILL be watching!

It's going to be a spectacular event. DON'T MISS IT!
